Simba and Sheena

Simba, Sheena and their siblings were born in the Grand National Circus, where they lived in small, barren cages with no toys and nothing to look forward to other than harsh training, during which they were bullied into performing tricks. After PETA alerted Forest Department officials to the animals' plight, the animals were confiscated immediately. Simba, Sheena and their other siblings were sent to a sanctuary, where they have now grown into handsome adults. They have a great time playing with each other and cooling off in the pond during hot weather. Sometimes, when their play is too boisterous, their father, Sheru, gives them a small warning growl.

What You Can Do?
Babies born to animals in circuses are torn away from their mothers and sent out on the road, causing extreme distress to both mothers and babies. Never take children to circuses that have animal acts. It teaches them the dangerous lesson that babies from other species can be exploited for "entertainment" instead of left in peace to grow up in their natural habitats with their families.
